Re: >> Linz Airport Cargo

THY's Turkish Cargo to open route to Linz, Austria
Istanbul-based Turkish Cargo, a division of national flag-carrier Turkish Airlines, will launch direct freighter flights to the Austrian industrial city of Linz, the company announced Monday.
Linz, a location attractive to logistics and trading companies, will become the 90th freight destination of Turkish Cargo across the globe and the second in Austria, following Vienna, it said.
The flights, starting on April 2, will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
"The new destination is not only a key city in terms of culture and tourism, but it also shines with its export potential and is called the industrial region of Austria," the statement read.
The company flies to more than 300 destinations in 127 countries with the transportation capacity of Turkish Airlines, in addition to its 90 cargo markets.
Turkish Cargo aims to operate flights to 120 direct cargo destinations in 2023. It continues to be the preferred brand in air cargo transportation by achieving sustainable growth with its infrastructure, operational capabilities, fleet and specialized crew and teams.
The flag carrier previously announced that it also plans the transition of passenger flights to cargo flights to both compensate for the damage to the virus-hit travel sector and contribute to the country's foreign trade.

Turkish Cargo adds new freighter flight to Linz
Turkish Cargo has continued to expand its freighter operations with a new service to Linz in Austria.
The Istanbul-hubbed airline said Linz was its 90th direct cargo destination. The service will operate twice per week (Thursdays and Sundays) making use of Airbus 330 and B777F airplanes.
The service will be operated on the ISL-BLL-LNZ (Istanbul Airport – Billund Airport – Linz Airport) route starting April 2.
The carrier said that the Austrian city is located at “the junction point” of Europe and enjoys a range of shipping and transportation capabilities.
Turkish Cargo is the only airfreight carrier that operates scheduled cargo flights to Linz, which is its second cargo destination in Austria, following Vienna.
“The Linz destination is not only a key city in terms of culture and tourism, but it also shines with its export potential and is called as the industrial region of Austria,” Turkish Cargo said in a statement.
Turkish Cargo is expanding quickly and currently operates a fleet of 24 all-cargo aircraft. It aims to operate flights to 120 direct cargo destinations by 2023.

Re: >> Linz Airport Cargo
